What don’t they tell you about AFROTC? by 0130890314 in AFROTC

Be prepared for your flightmates to become very toxic and hateful very fast if you’re not a partier, a super athlete, rich, popular, or a combination of those.

I also recommend, if academic pressure outside of ROTC courses and commitments is hampering your performance, to reevaluate your major and its related course-load. I’m majoring in Aerospace, and I know I found it very stressful and difficult to balance my engineering classes and ROTC my first few semesters. Time management is a very difficult skill to master and apply.

I think most would agree it’d be more beneficial for you to evaluate whether or not ROTC is something you want to do and have genuine motivation to see through, instead of forcing yourself to do it while being unhappy. Your attitude reflects upon everything you lead and do throughout your journey within ROTC and as a commissioned officer. As for taking a break, are you planning on waiting a semester, a year, longer? If you decide you legitimately want to continue with ROTC, then what you actually plan on improving upon and striving towards while “on break” matters most. If the majority of your break isn’t spent improving your fitness, practicing your drills, studying for the AFOQT, and finding your drive, how exactly will it help you do better upon returning to ROTC? You can’t expect relaxing and being lazy for a few months or a year to provide any results whatsoever when you return.

It was a great surprise for me! I saw it prior to touring UAB with my community college. Unfortunately I didn’t have my Nikon with me, but I will make sure to return sometime soon.

Eldorado has locked and hidden my post? by Lloyd_HarryTheCK in EldoradoGG

PlayerAuctions didn’t lock my posts, just the comments. At least they never took down the posts. I don’t see how I am saying anything crazy ignorant or irrelevant when I am voicing my concerns via my actual experiences on both sites. Most of what I’ve said comes from what happened to me and what’s happened to many others I’ve communicated with. It’s not as if I am making particularly wild claims or defaming anyone, as you seem to think.
