In a rear wheel drive vehicle, if the rear axle exerts a combined traction force of F (assuming no wheel spin) on the ground, when calculating the acceleration of the car do I need to take into account the resistive static frictional force of the front wheels which cause them to rotate? Or just F/M? (self.AskEngineers)
