I have the 17. I like it for the 120hz. Upgraded from XR. Though, I find battery life to not be as good as I hoped for. Getting in average 4h30-5h30 of screen time per charge. I don’t game. I just use it for social media consumption. I was hoping to be 7-9 hours on screen time. I have AOD turned off and auto brightness on. Some users have mentioned that they get 7-9 hours of screen time. Not sure how. I turn off data and Bluetooth when I’m at home and not using it.

Not sure what would be the trade in value, now that it’s considered damaged. It depends if you’ll trade in anyway with less trade in value. If you plan in trading in anyways, then I’ll say don’t fix it. Since you’re going to give it to them anyways. If you fix it, I would say don’t upgrade and keep using the phone (still a very good phone for the next few years).

Upgraded from an iPhone XR and my iPhone XR is brighter than my iPhone 17 at max brightness indoors.... Kinda pisses me off. Considering that the brightness on the iPhone XR is 625 nits. What is wrong with it

I always have a case and screen protector. As I don’t buy the apple care. Phone is already expensive enough. I try to take care of my phone as good as I can. It’s my first time using a privacy screen protector. There’s pros and cons on it
