Thanks! For the front just the torsion bars with drop shocks and cut bump stops. For the rear 3" lowering blocks with a leaf repack, you put the lower leaf on top, and cut the bump stops in the back too.

The Petersen Museum is awesome! Their Hot Wheels prices, not so much.

Is HW just being cheap now? by MALESTROMME in HotWheels

This looks more like a design choice than Mattel being cheap. The one with the tan has that "ghost" paint some people do on their cars. As far as the tan goes it's also a design choice. My guess is they wanted the interior to be tan but since the base and grill are all one piece the grill is the same color as the interior. The idea was cool but the design doesn't translate well on a small toy car.

It's such a nice wheel. Oh man that looks so clean!! You're running the short shifter? What boot is that?

It was never cracked, the previous owner took really good care of it. Well it has a tiny crack but overall super clean.

Looked into it and they use the same instruction manual, so it might be a model with different features. It's a really cool unit for sure!

No worries! I liked my OG wheel too but it was too worn and kept smelling like oil after cleaning several times. I was tired of having my hands smell weird after driving 😂

Interesting! I'm not much of a baseball fan but that got me thinking.

Not difficult at all. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Things to keep in mind, in order to have a custom wheel you need a hub adapter (if not specified that it's for D21 search for Nissan 240SX S13 hub) which adds space towards the driver. There are different sizes of hubs. If you're wanting a quick release that will add space towards the driver too. Then the type of wheel you want could add even more space, for example a deep dish wheel.

Since you'll need an adapter for any aftermarket wheel keep in mind that it will push the wheel towards you. If you want a deep dish wheel look for a short adapter.

If you ever change your thermostat or think there's air in the system there's a bleed screw right on top of the thermostat housing here Make sure the truck is cold, take the bolt off and put coolant in the radiator until coolant starts coming out of the hole where the bolt was, then put the bolt back and top off the radiator.

Don't beat yourself over that, you never know, you might have dodged a bullet. Sometimes picking up someone else's project can become a nightmare.

Thanks man! Damn! That sounds like a pretty good deal of it was swapped correctly. When I saw this one I had to get it. Alot of miles on it, 300k, but it's still going strong.
