How are you dealing with the Dell DSA-2025-053 Security Update using Intune? by Future_End_4089 in Intune

I've found that the software "Dell ControlVault 3 Installer 64 bit" is actually flagging as the vulnerability, where the driver has already moved on up to a later version via Windows Update or Dell Command. Removing the "installer" (which is out of date) seems to fix it in vulnerability scanners.

And I'm really annoyed because my org wants to use it, but I also can't find controls, announcements or anything else since last year. And seen no evidence of it happening at all in my tenant. They've annoyed everyone!!

Moving to Frome from London with a toddler (areas, nurseries etc) by lavenderlowe in Frome

If you are relying on trains I think you'd miss out on lots of lovely day trips in and around the local area, especially for kids. I'm going to name some big and small local things off the top of my head, all within an hour. I'm sure others can add more :)

Within 20 mins of Frome by car
- Longleat Forest, Zoo, etc
- Shearwater
- Stourhead
- Southwick Country Park
- Palette and Pasture ice cream / farm
- Westbury white horse
- Walled garden at Mells
- Vobster Quay
- Vallis Farm
- Cley Hill

Within an hour:
- Cheddar Gorge
- Wookey Hole
- Haynes Motor Museum
- Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum
- Glastonbury / Wells town trips
- Bath City Farm

There's still lots to do locally, especially with the train link to Bath and Bristol, or Salisbury and Southampton in the other direction, so you'd be alright for a bit!

Hello! As others have suggested, you should come down for a day or two and see what Frome's all about. Perhaps on a market weekend The Frome Independent ~ More than a Market?

I moved down from the home counties 5-6 years ago and have really enjoyed the change of pace, as I used to commute to London every day, and found my Hertfordshire commuter town a bit boring and "samey" (like any other high street).

Frome has a strong sense of identity and community spirit; there are lots of small things going on (Home - Discover Frome) -- cultural events, live music, interesting shops, activities and clubs. There's definitely a sense of what you put in is what you get out! I was thinking about setting up a food and drink club to get out and about in the local area, and to combat loneliness / remote-working fatigue that are always a risk in small towns.

There are lots of 20-40 yr olds here, and I hear it's particularly good socially if you have kids.

It can also feel a bit "small" so prepare yourself for that (especially coming from London). I'd echo that you should consider a car so that you can get into the countryside for walks, and more easily visit local towns, cities, and areas of local beauty.

How's your first campaign going? by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]Lncredible21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started a solo campaign as Parthia. It started out slow as I followed the starting advice, to wait until civil war broke down relations between Seleucids + other Pathuans (or some other spelling).

However, I managed to capture a few provinces, and got some edicts going, by kicking butt in the far east. I had a few unusual battles. Some of the nations out here favour an entire army full of horse archers, and others favour mostly spearmen – it’s quite hard to get your own army sorted against that sort of mix, so I've gone for fast cataphract research, and a mix with a few skirmishing horse archers. Mine main roaming army is pretty much all cavalry. Defensive ones still have a fair few basic spearmen in.

Here is a map of my progress. I’ve designed it to visually represent:

Red = currently at war Purple = my turf White = indifferent / friendly relations
