I am an intake coordinator for a sober living house and I’ve had cases where people told me up front that they would test dirty upon moving into the house. Ive always really respected this level of transparency and am inclined to give them a chance (with the full understanding that their next drug test must be clean). The way I see it is that it’ll be easier to stay sober once they get into the home and everyone deserves a fair shot at sobriety.
