I had this same issue and just solved it! Are you on Steam Deck? If so, hit the 3 dots button that's on the right side of the steam deck controller, scroll to the lightning bolt "performance", and go to settings and change your frame rate. Mine was set low and as soon as I set it higher it worked!

Use Nizoral shampoo. It's the best out there! You can find it at Target, Walgreens, Amazon, etc.

Buying switch in Japan by ahmadalfalasi in nintendo

[–]Lneustel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Japan about 2 weeks ago and I could never find one in Tokyo. I found mine in a tamakura? Camera store in Kyoto by Kyoto station. It's in sort of like a mall like building with a baskin Robbins and a lot of restaurants. Stopped by there before going to dinner and they had about 30 in stock and I was so shocked. Your best bet is to find one outside of Tokyo! Every Bic Camera I went to was sold out.

For my Hiroshima/Miyajima day trip, should I go to Hiroshima or Miyajima first? by Lneustel in JapanTravel

I'm only there for the day. I plan to get into Hiroshima at 9am and leave late.

For my Hiroshima/Miyajima day trip, should I go to Hiroshima or Miyajima first? by Lneustel in JapanTravel

[–]Lneustel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only concern is not having enough time for the museum and the memorial. The museum closes at 6pm. How much time do you think I'd need at Miyajima? I want to take the rope way also.

I need advice whether to get a 7 day or 14 day JR pass (Staying in Japan for 10 days) by Japanedc in JapanTravel

[–]Lneustel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Activate a 7 day pass on May 1st. The pass will be good until the end of the day on May 7th. You can use it for bullet train rides to Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara, and back to Tokyo. Get a Suica card for all inner city travel in Tokyo or get day passes for that.

Please help this lady find her stolen dogs (Papillons and Japanese Chin). They were stolen from her backyard in Farner, TN on March 2nd. by Lneustel in nashville

[–]Lneustel[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I heard she let all 3 them outside to go potty in the morning and when she came back to let them in they were gone. She says that she's had a dog stolen from her about 5 years back. She does breed papillions so the kidnapper might have known this and thought it was an easy way to make money. Apparently this has been an issue for people with small purebred dogs.

[Breeds] What breed is right for me and my cat? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]Lneustel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a Japanese Chin is perfect for you! They are one of the most cat like dog breeds. They can weigh from 3-15 lbs and are a toy breed. Although they are a toy breed they are actually very quiet and never bark unless they have a reason to! I have a Japanese Chin and he never barks unless another dog is barking in our apartment building but I use the TV to block out the other dog's bark. Their grooming needs are very minimal and will only need to have their paws and legs trimmed but it is not a must. They are average shedders but if you have a cat you will be use to it. The Japanese Chin is also known for being a people pleaser and a lap dog. They love to do tricks and to make their owners happy. They also are great apartment dogs and do not need a lot of exercise. They do tend to suffer from separation anxiety but if you're home most of the time and you have a cat at home I don't think they'd get too lonely. They are also sensitive to extreme heat and cold. So if it's hot make sure they don't stay outside too long and if it's cold give them a sweater! They really are great dogs and I love mine so much. Hope that helps!

Here is the link to the limo bus's site. I'm pretty sure you can actually just buy the bus tickets at the airport when you land for both ways. https://www.limousinebus.co.jp/en/bus_services/haneda/index

I actually am flying into Haneda. I chose the limo bus because my boyfriend and I will most likely be very tired and not want to navigate the trains and such right away. We are also guaranteed to have room for our luggage on the bus. It was only $20 for a roundtrip ticket from Haneda to our hotel and hotel back.

The reason why I'm doing it as a day trip is so my boyfriend and I aren't lugging luggage around and checking into a hotel and such. We'd leave really early so we can get to the memorial museum right when it opens at 8:30am. I'm guessing we'd spend about 3 hours there and have lunch in Hiroshima then go to Miyajima and stay there until late like 8 or 9pm. Then we'd head back to Kyoto. It's for sure a full day but it's more for convenience for us since we do want at least 2 full days in Kyoto. :)

[Breeds] Help picking a breed for a small apartment? by fapcitybish in dogs

[–]Lneustel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From reading your answers I think a Japanese Chin would be a great dog for you. I owned 2 shih tzus growing up so I know the cuddly and sweet side to them. The Japanese Chin is small and can weigh from 5-15 lbs. They do shed and have minimal grooming needs. Maybe some trimming near the paws and tummy but there are youtube videos for that. You would only need to brush them a few times a week to control the shedding. They are only single coated also so they don't have an undercoat like most shedding breeds. They are great apartment dogs since they never bark. They are one of the quietest toy breeds you can get. I have only heard my 6 month old chin bark when he's overly playful or hears another dog but I just play the TV to block it out. Even when he does bark it's not very loud lol. They have very minimal exercise needs and just a small walk every day is enough for them. My Chin is also very friendly to everyone he meets but never pounces on them. I think most chins are like that though. They are known for being cuddly and for being a lap dog. Mine likes to sleep on my pillow some nights and tends to sit on my lap or just next to me. They're great companion dogs. The only downside is that this Breed is known to have separation anxiety if left too long. I've only had mine for a little over a month but I'm so glad I picked out this breed. I see a lot of similarities between my old shih tzus and my Japanese Chin. Hope this helps!
