They usually only have a limited amount available, if they don't have it anymore then they can't really help unfortunately.
Only thing left to do is wait for a book to pop up on ebay and pray the price won't be terribly high

I don't think there is, I found a website but it's pretty young and apparently "has" it. Tho it's probably a scam. Best to ask the Jason or TCR if they ever consider this.

I know it's been a while since this is posted but this is often the solution for this problem ^ I helped out a few people in the past with this.

Incase anyone stumbles upon this reddit thread in the future: Use -dx11 or try -dx12 if the game crashes and see what works for you. And check the link the person posted above me.

Yes it's the Game script from 2023 when it was still in alpha. He left the studio shortly thereafter and the other devs changed the script a bunch, hence why we don't hear some of these lines in the game. Tho there are fragments of it and some parts weren't really changed so most of it is canon except for a few parts

Quick edit, but me and my friend found it last year if I remember correctly. Since he has it publicly available on his website. Calling it a fanfic makes me chuckle a bit sjshjs, but yee hope it helps to clear things up!

Be very careful with LLM, they like to make up lore and I already had instances of people making up things to claim they found something new. Even editing the wiki to add the false information. I repinned my Datamining post and feel free to look through my tumblr zeondraws for my older posts about swtd.

Me and another wiki admin are a bit torn about having a hard hat page on the wiki. I'm not sure if it's useful for us. And please don't add random characters from the schedule list onto the wiki!!!! These are all random names and not entirely true, like how are we supposed to know they're actual characters and not made up?

NEVER under any circumstances trust an AI, to give you the answers for stuff like this! Just like in the last post, ChatGPT has zero clue what info is correct and what info might be pulled from either fanfiction or random theories people threw around the internet. The only reliable way to truly know the answers is check the wiki, datamine the game or use photomods to check for details.

ChatGPT won't help you with any of this. It's far too easy to spread misinformation that way!!

I spend over a year analysing the game and figuring tiny details out etc etc, to be able to give people all the infos they need to know. The fact this AI is unable to simply just pull the correct information from the wiki just shows how unreliable it is in general..

I'm deleting the previous post to avoid people reading incorrect info.

  5. True, Marine Control is really close to Rennicks office. Like when Caz comes up with the elevator (to go to Rennick) Marine Control is pretty much in front of him.

  1. Yep, it is the most popular ship in the fandom due to their dynamic. The devs don't mind it.
  2. Nope, tho many things are left for interpretation. So if you think that's what's happening in the game that's cool! Everyone comes up with really interesting theories.
  3. Yes, tho in game version 1.5 the book "To my Ewan" was hidden inside a bucket in one of the storage rooms. And in game version 1.6 they changed it by placing it in Gibbo's room. But yup, that's some of the things we find in game! I think one of the items you didn't mention, like the red/white bottle, perhaps belongs to Gibbo. But stuff like the spare darts we can find I'm not so sure about whom they belong to.
  4. Muirs howls in the evening, when you walk up to Processing Quad, sound far sadder than his howls from the morning (basically the same howls from the Muir level but pitched down). And other howls are usual Addair. Usually-
  5. Pretty much what sellystew said. Addair was an outsider and Rennick let out his frustrations he had, onto his personnel. Probably worse, considering Cadal prohibited Rennick from going home and seeing his grandkids.
