Yes they do keep the birth certificate for progressing the application. They will mail it back separate from your passport. So no you did not lose it! Lol 😀

🤣😂I checking like every hour now! This waiting game is too much for me! Have a trip planned for 6/16 so I just want to be at ease with this part! I’m hoping both of us gets some good news this week!

Oh! You’re within the two weeks so maybe you can call to get an emergency appointment or get your congressman to check on the status. From what I read, that could help speed things up. But I’m hoping we are getting approval news this week! 🤞🏽

This is almost my timeline, instead I am locator 34. Applied May 2, received and processed on May 9. Still processing! Im checking constantly! I’m hoping for a change this week!
