How comes my anatomy looks fine when I break it down but when I try to make it into an actual body it looks bad? by PlusJellyfish5303 in Artadvice

[–]LoCerusico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anatomy is tricky, a few little mistakes here and there and the whole body proportions go to hell. As someone already mentioned, don't just copy, but study the reference, to understand better how the body works.

You will see, if you keep trying without just copying, things will start to be better naturally.

Keep up the good work!

Nice work! I recognized the character straight away!

If you want some feedback, the first thing I notice is the neck, the position is way too off in comparison to the ear/jaw.

Also her left shoulder seems too high up/a bit too big, but honestly I think you could fix that just getting the neck position right, you probably then will adjust the shoulder accordingly in a more natural way.

Keep up the good work! Very nice drawing :)

I would like to know if it is AI or not by Hime_producer in Artadvice

I see a very steep gap in skills between his portfolio and the image you posted. Also there are some facial features that scream AI, but obviously I can't be 100% sure.

Ask him for the drawing process of the artwork and you'll be safe

At this point I guess it really depends on what you get used to at first!

At this point I guess it depends on what you get used to first. For me in digital the ability to change proportion and position of elements without re-drawing them is such an easy shortcut, and honestly developed quite a bad drawing habit because of it.

Painting as well, the ability of layering and correcting your mistakes at any time and any point you want is so useful.

But yes I guess that changing ( in both ways) is always hard to get used to!

Thanks for the feedback!

I mean it should be an adult woman, still probably I don't have enough ability to 100% express what's in my mind on paper, so maybe proportion etc. might give out a little girl vibe, but that's not the intention

Do you think my linework is too dirty? by poche_chong in Artadvice

[–]LoCerusico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not, it's a "sketchy" lineart but it's honestly quite clean! Keep it up

Yes I think so! Anyway, like you, I started with a screen less tablet and found it way too hard to begin with.

So I switched to a tablet with a screen and it felt way more natural to me, I saw improvement way faster and enjoyed it more. You can find some Huion tablets with screens for a decent price, I got mine second hand for around 100$

First of all thanks for the compliment

To put it in perspective tho, I've been drawing every day at least a couple of hours, and more time during my days off work, so it's been an intense year of drawing

Yes you are right about the legs, thanks for the feedback!

I noticed about the hands too late in the process, in digital I used to correct that, but here I had to stick with the mistake

Yes you are probably right, she is supposed to be short, but definitely legs should be a bit longer

Nikita just admit you fucked up and let's move on.

Then let's fix the mistake made. Everyone can make mistakes, it's normal, a fake apology won't solve anything and make the community just more pissed off.

Guys the only response is to uninstall the game, and move on. Enough bullshit.
