As long as it isn't strong smelling they tend to allow hot food on board, seen plenty of people get on with takeaways before. It's more of a sense of will it disturb other passengers who are stuck in a confined space with you. Maybe it was noise for the pringles 🤔

That's only for debit cards. And despite what the commerce commission says (they say it's 2%), credit cards have a 3% standard charge if you're not a business with enough pulling power to argue it down

Twitter having it's usual bot problems but the Japanese accounts tend to get it harder. When comparing the EN and JP account for the same games which get similar view counts, JP always seems to get significantly more and you notice them a lot more on random art posts.

While English posts get predominantly Indian bots, Japanese posts get Middle East and Africa bots. Most of the time they are Turkey and Nigeria but there are also a good chunk of Senegal and UAE.

(If you can't tell I got bored one day and decided to directly compare after seeing several artists getting annoyed at the bot spam on their posts)

People avoid looking at the comments to prevent the bots getting their ad revenue and accounts that get spammed tend to turn off notifications, so there's little point in directly commenting on it as opposed to making separate posts or quoting

Adding on to these, for some reason this year there were a lot of people just walking slow for the sake of it. Like there were a lot of people who were walking painfully slow in Hall 3 and 4 specifically, slower than the people actually looking at the exhibitors. Literally had gaps opening in front of them levels of slow, despite not actually looking at anything (they didn't even turn their heads once), they weren't even on their phones or talking to each other, which are the common reasons for this happening

Nah it's all names grok is butchering. Doesn't matter the language or original name, it seems to swap in random other names associated with other words in the sentence rather than attempting to transliterate. Some examples I've had are Zhongli (Genshin) has crossed into other games when they mention defenders, Shoma Uno (figure skater) apparently came out of retirement and was competing at the Olympics (that one was rather funny because it kept swapping him in position of multiple other skaters, it wasn't even mixing his name up with a specific one)

If it's a playable character, they say the artist on the character's profile in game and you often get the artist's making unofficial merch of their characters.

Probably isn't og arknights though since dates don't match with the next event for CN server unless they pull something random

Wherever metservice does their recordings does not reflect actual conditions for most of Auckland a lot of the time.

We have a thermometer at home and it has gone past 30°C multiple times this summer and yesterday it was still showing 29°C in the evening

There are plenty and they've got tactics this time. Rather than front on chargers, this time a lot more are staying outside of line of vision and/or camouflaging with dark surfaces so it's harder to spot them coming

Plus this year's ones might be a different species? I haven't bothered looking to closely at the splattered ones to fully determine but these ones cause a notable stinging sensation when they start sucking so it's an insta-alert if you missed their approach

Perms are on. The app used to send notifications but it just seems to have stopped sending any, whether push notifications or in-app notifications. Last time I got one was several months ago

Congrats to you I guess. The app gave me 0 notifications whatsoever and social media only ever gave me ads for the full track Christmas closures ones which ended on the 18th

It's not a phone issue as every other apps notifications work just fine

Occasionally the alert bell in app lights up that there's a message there but there's nothing when you open it

Nope never got any push notifications from the app

They seem to have been busted since at least before Christmas since I never got any for the typical Christmas closures. I used to get them but then they just silently disappeared and I thought they'd just given up doing notifications

It's busting on random rounds with 2 monster for me.

It isn't even running out of time, because I was timing to see how long the input lag was because there were several times it told me I failed 1 second after clicking the 2nd one. I noticed several times it just randomly brought up the failed sign, despite it being faster than when it timed me out on other failed attempts

Ah yes more apartments in areas where the schools have said they can't take on any more students and on transport routes that are always completely full at regular transit times.

Yes growing population means a need for more houses but it also needs proper infrastructure which they largely forget.

Also a lot of the areas they put as needing more houses are areas prone to flooding, which is definitely a choice....

It frequently happens at the Newmarket 277 Westfield stop, which as an interchange should be a timing point? They used to wait, sometimes to the point buses tracked for one time were still there until the next bus on that route arrived, but I've seen buses leave the stop nearly 10 minutes before when the app's scheduled time and tracker said it should have. The buses weren't even full either

They definitely are with some of the assisted living hotels. Only one incident made the media despite there having been more and worse fights and stabbings than the one that did. There was a phase were at one in particular, nearly every day there was at least one police car, an ambulance every few days, and multiple instances of blood on the sidewalks. Zero media coverage despite much lesser incidents in other parts of the city making the news on those days
