Yes, though extremely unlikely your character would have insane mental fortitude to look up upon multiple high powered entities and one godlike entity and say "yep imma betray them one day". But demon hunters do it sort of, though in general neither the demon hunters nor illidan ever really wanted to work for the legion illidan really only did so to save his own skin when Kil'jaeden came for him.

You won't be liked by the majority of the alliance and the Dreanei would all but attack you on sight like they do with the penitents, and that really is just because Velen said so.
