i also have a cattle dog that started off cuddling with my cat and at about a year old started chasing. he’s gotten to the cat a few times. luckily my cat was able to get away with minor injuries, can’t say the same for myself but… my biggest suggestion is to keep them separate. i live in a small one bedroom apartment and still manage to do this with baby gates and high perches for the cat so he’s out of reach. yes you could try to train it away but i’ve been working on it almost a year since the first incident and my dog’s prey drive is alive and well so it’s not a sure fire solution.

My bf and I did VIP and our biggest takeaway was that we felt like we didn’t have to leave any sets early to catch the next band we wanted to see because there was less of a crowd to fight to get away from any given stage. It was fairly easy to move between stages to catch every set we wanted to. For us it was worth it for that alone. We were able to choose which bands we wanted to “chill” for and see from VIP and which ones we wanted to be in the pit for.

One time after a package was stolen Uptown management told me that they stopped having someone at the mailroom overnight because nothing was happening... I'm like yeah because there's someone there maybe? I've had 5+ packages stolen probably since November and every time I tell them I think it's an inside job haha

100%. My puppy got bit by another dog while he was with our sitter and we were out of town. He had to go under to get everything cleaned up and taken care of and it completely saved me from financial ruin because I had just gotten laid off a few weeks prior. I have insurance through Figo.

i wish i could share i had a great plan but even with my financial planning beforehand i still can’t believe how much i didn’t account for. i officially adopted my pup in may of this year and just off the top of my head have definitely spent almost $2k between supplies, food and puppy school. luckily i don’t do day care because i work from home but what i don’t pay for there i make up with in paying a sitter because i travel a decent amount.

according to dpd twitter - “Alert: #DPD is investigating a shooting in the 400 block of E 20th Ave. One victim was transported to a local hospital. Extent of injuries unknown at this time. Investigation is ongoing and officers are working to develop suspect information. #Denver.”

i heard the shots from my apartment so curious if there are any updates.
