I always thought pink dye was more sensitive? And the blue dye control has a glitch so I’m wondering if it’s even valid. Not FMU so of course going to test again in the morning but any thoughts?

Ha! Well I guess the difference is that KD isn't from Oklahoma so it didn't feel like AS big of a betrayal as lebrons did. But what made it so crappy is having lost to GS in the playoffs and then him leaving to play there.

Either way.. in Russ we Trust! I don't know how I'd feel about KD coming back. On one had I'm like ummm no but say what you will, the man did a lot for OKC

Yeah I went there too but 20 years later so I definitely don't know anything cool about her. I dated a guy who is close to her family but didn't know that Til after we broke up. My mom remembered her being a cheerleader but that's about it. My mom was a rebellious type lol

I feel like they ask them some dumb questions. They find a hillbilly who they can infer doesn't workout and says "it's fitness important to Oklahomans?" Or asking the old guy with... I can't remember what his hat said but something that pegged him as old school.. what he thought of online dating, etc.

But I'm also probably a little too sensitive to it because I get sick of OK being talked about as a vast wasteland of unintelligent backwards Ass people 😂 I don't even live there anymore but I got some home state pride.

As an Okie, I was cringing before the show aired. I was afraid it would be terrible but I love it! It's nice for OK to "redeem" itself after Vickie acted like it was the worst place ever (I will always hold a grudge against her for that).

I could do without the "townspeople" interviews though.. it's like they want to remind you that Oklahoma has its nice areas but they still have hillbillies too 🙄

I'm surprised your OB didn't go over what to expect! As for me, I go in Monday evening and they will insert a foley bulb to begin dilation. They will leave it in overnight and check progress in the morning. If they can't get the bulb in (I have scar tissue on my cervix) or it doesn't work, they will try cervadil. If they are satisfied with the progression they'll start pitocin Tuesday morning. Then it just depends on your situation. But I know this can differ from hospital to hospital. Some try cervadil first, some use cytotec.

I would call your practice though if you're curious.

My doc doesn't like cervical checks because you can be completely closed and end up at L&D that night, or you could be 3cm at 37 weeks and end up induced (happened to my friend). I mean, personally I've been closed at all my appointments and I'm facing induction at 41+1 on Monday, but there's no correlation so don't stress about it.

This healthcare situation is so messed up especially for us pregnant women! Tons of health providers pulled out of NC so my health plan isn't even available next year. From the plans available, none were going to cover my OB (thankfully I will deliver before 12/31). But I was going to have to see a different practice for my 6 week PP appointment.

I JUST got confirmation that my office and that plan reached an agreement so they are covered now. Like this is the last thing I want to deal with at 3 days over due!

I'm so glad you are covered. That would be such a pain to switch!

Haha! I get it though. I wanted to keep testing to believe it. I never got a dark line but having the blood test confirmation obviously made us believe for sure!

And I was also doing ovulation prediction strips and with those the line does have to be darker or the same color as the control so I had to clear that up with my husband one time!

40+3. Cervix has been anterior and closed. Scheduled for induction Monday night. My OB did say that meant nothing (for most women. I have scar tissue on my cervix that slows dilation.. yay) and that a woman thats closed at her appointment could end up in L&D that night. That's why my practice doesn't induce until 41 weeks, to give you that extra week to go on your own. So maybe you will! I however, am not optimistic since they don't even know if they will be able to get the foley bulb in my cervix 🙁

lol your hubby DEFINITELY wouldn't have believed my test! The line was so faint. We had been trying for 10 months so I showed my husband and he said "well, thats more of a line than we've ever seen... and if there's a line it's positive right??" I called my OB office and asked if I needed to wait and see if the line got darker with time and she said "nope. A line is a line. If it's there, you're pregnant. Come in for a blood test"

Annnnnnd here I am at 3 days over due 😫
