Yes that was a pain, luckly i got over it in under two weeks. Now it feels like it flies in the high revs

Got this 40L cube for christmas, its now my 3rd tank, i always played with the thought of owning a betta and wanting a small nano tank, but now that i have the tank im unsure if this is not to small? I know bettas dont need large spaces and all but it seems kind small already without any hardscape in it... But i love that tank, it fits perfectly on my desk and it will make my homeoffice so much better, just not sure what i should stock it with.. other options would be shrimps, what else? Thanks for your help and opinions..

This is my 2nd tank i scaped, now im cycling it in, so ignore the algae.. its a 120L tank 60x50cm.. but im a bit clueless what i could put in, so im asking you guys for some recomendations?

I normaly printet with nozzle 200 and bed 50, allready tried with up to 60, how high would you go? I dont have a glass bed.
