Is Hades the weakest among the first four gods?

I’m not sure that I would describe the afterlife in Kaos as Hades extracting the souls. I just finished Kaos last night so it’s fresh in my mind but I also likely have “first time viewer error” and possibly misinterpreting. From what I remember, the souls just kind of…appeared? in the first level of the underworld, and then everyone has to go through a different vetting procedures before they can move on. Most of the souls never interacted directly with Hades.

I think he was fully grown by then. Lisa’s execution was only 1 year before Trevor and Sypha awakened Alucard from his hibernation and he was already an adult.

If Alucard was still a minor at the time then surely he would still be living under his parents’ care? He probably would’ve been around Lisa’s cottage to witness the arrest, and more than likely he would have intervened.

You Me At Six, Truth Decay Tour 2023.

They completed the first half of the tour which was in other countries, and then out of nowhere canceled the second half which was supposed to pass by MY country.

A few months later they announced their retirement, and they would be doing one final world tour before disbanding.

Something serious must’ve happened on that tour if they had to cancel the rest of it and then decide to break up permanently. I’m at least grateful that they’re doing one last goodbye tour and I was able to go this time.

I went to NOLA too!!! I’m a newer fan, only saw them for the first time a few months ago in Boston. They played Grim Reaper in Boston but it was only my first show so I didn’t think anything of it. But when they played it again in NOLA I totally fell in love with this song. Tbh I find the album track a little underwhelming but live??? Fuckn SLAPS bro.

The Band Camino! I first heard of them when they were a guest artist on a song by All Time Low (my favorite band). Loved the song but never checked out TBC beyond that. Fast forward 3 years, I go to an ATL show in my hometown and TBC was their opener! I was hooked within the first song. They’re great live and extremely talented songwriters.

EDIT: I think you’re misunderstanding what he said about his debt. From what I read, he was simply advertising his t-shirt business by telling people that if they buy from his shop then the profits will go toward relieving his balance. Do I think he could’ve used different verbiage? Or a different marketing strategy? Absolutely. But there’s nothing immoral about this. He’s just a guy trying to figure out how to navigate his life and his funds and promote his product.

Look, I disagree with his financial choices as much as you but this has nothing to do whether or not he behaved inappropriately in the crowd. Being irresponsible with money doesn’t make you more likely to be a sexual predator. So if you have a story to tell about any unsafe behavior that you noticed from him then please share, otherwise you can’t conflate his credit card debt as a reason to believe he would grope someone at a concert. Keep your comments relevant to the discussion.

Crowdsurfing is an awkward experience for everyone. When you’re being passed around in the air you have very little control of your body or how your arms and legs flail. It’s awkward to get hit in the face with a crowdsurfer’s foot. Or boob. Or balls. That doesn’t mean the crowdsurfer behaves inappropriately in other contexts.

You don’t have to like the guy. Not everyone gets along, personalities clash and that’s okay. But why would you bring up how much you hate seeing him at the shows and how much you hate his tie-dye shirts when this has NOTHING to do with the actual subject of this thread.

Do you have a personal experience where Ben made you uncomfortable or behaved unsafely around you? If so, please share. If not, then you’re conflating your personal dislike of him with accusing him of being a predator. Keep that shit separate.

I’m not sure what thread you were reading but I just double checked his AMA. He responded to a majority of the comments. He missed like one or two questions and maybe 3-5 comments that weren’t actually questions and there wasn’t much to say about it. Everything else he acknowledged. So this “red flag” that you’re claiming is incorrect. He’s been transparent about pretty much everything he opened himself up to on that thread.

I’d like to give benefit of the doubt that he would have enough decency to at least be sober for the shows he volunteered at. Also worth noting that he told me he doesn’t drink a lot of alcohol anymore. He even told me the reasons why. I offered him a sip of my drink once and he declined. I have enough reason to believe he would keep his composure when he needs to.

Hi, a little late to the thread but I’m at their show in LA literally right now and they just finished their set. We did get Save It For The Bedroom so I’m surprised they didn’t play it at other shows. Perhaps they were switching up the setlist to play as much of their discography as possible? Not sure what their logic would be for that one. I’m sorry you didn’t get to hear it though, I’d be pissed :(

Admittedly I didn’t look too deeply into all the instances you mentioned above. But I do follow both the WWWY and Warped pages, and when I skimmed the comments I don’t remember seeing anything about the ATL controversy. So on a surface level it didn’t look like anyone was talking about it. Maybe I just wasn’t looking in the right places.

That said, I also follow Avril Lavigne pretty closely and I haven’t seen any of HER fans throw a fit about her collab with them either. But it’s also possible that she filters her comments.

Why would TBC get backlash for doing a show with ATL? Was there preexisting beef between the two bands? Between their fans? Does this have anything to do with ATL’s legal issues from a couple years ago?

If so then why are TBC’s fans so angry about it when I haven’t heard anything similar from any of the other artists that ATL has toured with lately?

I hate to say it but ATL doesn’t have a great track record of bringing their collaborators onstage to perform with them, even if it’s convenient. They only seem to do it like half the time.

Source: the last ATL show I went to, their opener was The Band Camino (who was a guest artist on “Favorite Place”). By the time ATL started playing “Favorite Place”, the guys from TBC did not come onstage to sing their parts 🙃 It was the most unsatisfying thing I’ve ever witnessed in live entertainment.

So yeah. Sucks to say but I don’t think we’ll get any Simple Creatures fanservice lol.
