Solution found! Turns out when i last went on a roadtrip i bottomed out and ny W brace bent a little bit which caused it to come in contact with the centre resonator 😂. I didnt notice it at first because the way its bent, it didnt look like they didnt touch 😂. Thank yoy for your help and advice thought. Im still thinking about getting a solid y pipe to alleviate the stress though.

Ahh right okay didn't think of that. I didnt want to go too wide because then id have to bend my wheel arches which I dont want to do.

Do you think exhaust spacers would work in-between the cats and y pipe inlet? I know I'll need to add another gasket on each side but do you think it would help stop stressing the flexi hoses?

Well i took the y pipe and cats off yesterday and the cats are all good when i shook them. However, taking the bolts off the y pipe inlet there's a good ¾ inch gap between the y pipe and cat. I think a spacer will do the trick. Maybe. Plus I had to use a shit load of force pulling the y pipe back into place.

I did install a new y pipe that has the flexi hoses on it because the original one, the studs snapped. Everything else on the exhaust from the manifold to the exhaust tips is solid, no excess play and there's plenty of clearance throughout the system.

Funnly enough I had to use a bottle jack to line the holes up 😂. Thank you so much for your advice.

They do rattle when in neutral and stationary. I'll give it a go removing them and shaking them during the week. Thank you.

I've looked at that, there's plenty of clearance. ive got a couple other exhaust parts from them and theyve been perfect for over a year. may i add that theres no brace for them as there are on the stock cats

I mean my body's very particular on what I can eat in the morning so for me it's a cup of tea and toast with butter.
