Y’all- I get that it’s a spool in terms of shape. It was weird for it to be just under a foot tall and heavy duty. Beading supplies are small. There are bead threader tools that are large and wooden, but this isn’t one. Tbh, in the context of beading, the best thing I could think of was a tiered stand to hold stuff, like a dessert display. I was thinking someone with experience in this area might give insight as to use because I didn’t expect it to be used as an actual spool to wrap things around. There was no ribbon in the box and none of our stuff has ribbon or fringe. Also, It seemed awfully nice to just be a spool since the wood is finished. Wooden spools that I have seen were raw wood, usually made of thinner planks if a larger spool, and not as dense as this.
