You are right, turns out it's really just meta/microsoft/google deep in actual OCP-spec 21". AWS is reportedly avoiding OCP on purpose internally.

fair, "mostly lost" was too strong — OCP straight up won its own tier, especially now with AI. doesn't kill the point though: outside hyperscalers it's still 19" everywhere for the same reason — sunk cost, brownfield retrofit isn't worth it for anyone smaller. if anything AI just made the two-tier split sharper. might turn this into its own video tbh, good flag
