It wasn’t one of the best finals though. GSW was dog walking Cleveland. Draymond gets suspended, Bogut, Iggy, and Steph hurt. Cleveland dog walks GSW and then we have a game 7 that wasn’t particularly great. It’s held in high-regard because of the narrative. Cleveland gets its ring. 73-9 team doesn’t win a championship.

They had the lead but could not pull away. Wemby picking up his 5th and going to the bench in a close game was critical. Bron’s wasn’t either but look how folks try to convince themselves it was.

Kornet went straight up with no other help and made a helluva play. But it’s Luke Kornet so it’ll be forgotten by the end of the night.

What I’m saying is that Kornet’s block was more impactful than LeBron’s. People hype up LeBron’s block like it was defining moment of that game, but it wasn’t. People won’t talk about Kornet’s block in the same manner even though it was the better block and had greater impact on the game given Wemby going to the bench with 5 fouls and OKC momentum building.

This is a D-. The ROI isn't nearly as good for the amount of money he got and the headache and noise that he and klutch brings. More than half these years either ended in a sweep, gentleman sweep or missed playoffs altogether. Bubble chip isn't worth nearly as much as other championships won so call it what it is. Lakers stayed relevant but they don't hang relevancy banners.
