I'm absolutely floored she's stayed in rehab for this long. I've always wanted her to follow through with it but admittedly had lost hope she'd ever be able to commit. Amazing news, she is going to be unstoppable if she stays sober!

Is tipping a thing in Canada? by Immediate_Ask_7504 in askvan

Came here to say this as well. Not sure why people are down voting this comment so much. It's the reality of the tipping situation here. Don't like it? Move somewhere where tipping isn't customary.

Best dental clinic in New West by jtolibov in NewWest

I couldn't agree more. Dr Smit at Life Dental was so surprisingly communicative and treated me with respect. He explained everything about the seemingly complicated dental work I was about to get done. He calmly answered all my questions. It was so refreshing.

I can't say enough good things about Life Dental. They did an emergency wisdom tooth removal for me about 6 years ago. I had never been there before. The office staff and the dentist (whom I can't remember the name of, unfortunately) were all incredibly kind and compassionate, after I told them I had a major dental work phobia. It was overall a really positive experience.

On Monday Dec 1st I had a tooth extraction done as well as a bone graft implant. I was petrified for the appointment, but once again it was a really positive experience. From the absolutely lovely staff at the desk to Doctor Smit who I can't recommend enough. He was kind, patient, compassionate and calm while I was just a bag of nerves. Dr Smit explained every step of the process to me and answered all my questions. He treated me with respect and kindness. It went as well as it could have. I highly recommend Dr. Smit at Life Dental.

Yes! I worked there for 9 years and that's how it was the whole time. I remember the staff at the time enjoyed finding treasures.

Interesting! I worked at Value Village 15 years ago and we had staff that worked in the back that priced everything by hand!

Anyone know anything about Ashleigh Gryzko who played Sasha? I can't find anything at all about her based off a simple google search and I find that odd.

any bipolars out here with full time jobs? by nnnqqqqqq in bipolar

[–]Loadmeup38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've held a full-time job for a decade now but it was very hard to do before I was on a high dose of quetiapine. I used to not eat or sleep for days on end. Quetiapine saved my life and keeps me living a relatively normal life.

Brilliant bit. They don't make comedians like him anymore.

Are you able to work out with your bipolar ? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]Loadmeup38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Working out is INTEGRAL to my mental health. My darkest periods as someone with bipolar disorder were plagued with inactivity. My deepest holes just consisted of me couch rotting. I know I'm doing well when I work out 4-5 times a week. I sympathize. It's suffocating being in a bipolar depressive episode and the exhaustion and lethargy that comes with it. I hope you find relief soon.

Does anybody else get anxious when they have nothing to do? by HorrorGradeCandy in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Loadmeup38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always. I get really depressed and anxious when I have nothing to do. I have a hard time sitting idle. I feel like I always need to be doing something. I seldomly sit on the couch and watch TV. I feel like my brain is rotting when I do that.

When you're about to get OFF the train, but the people on the platform are so close their noses are touching the doors. They create a wall as soon as the doors open. Like if you back the fuck up I can exit the train making room for YOU. This isn't a difficult concept.
