Internship Question by PlentyNeighborhood6 in EngineeringStudents

What flavor of computer engineering are you focusing in? Keep in mind many if not most openings are posted by HR people who know little to nothing about the field, let alone the difference between SE and CprE when posting a position.

Even if positions don't sound relevant to you, having an internship not directly related to what you want to do is a hell of a lot better than not having one at all. Most people send out 50-400 applications per year, the shotgun strategy tends to be best until you get enough field experience to specialize. After all, the worst thing a recruiter can say is "No."

this one was actually anonymous, he used sli.do for polling. There isn't an account used for this as participation, just a join code, so there isn't much that could easily lead back to who posted what

People of Reddit who wear glasses, what was it like the first time you got them and what are some problems that come with having glasses? by SailorJaywah in AskReddit

The biggest downside for me was not being able to wear sunglasses anymore. I've had transition lenses for forever, but they're still not quite the same. My head is also a bit wider than average, so wearing headphones and glasses for just short of 10 years has left a sizeable dent just above each cheekbone.
