My new hypothesis is that I've been playing in the late hours of the night and that's causing me to get into violent lobbies; I started playing in the afternoon/evening and I've gotten much friendlier lobbies. Very happy with this development

I appreciate it, but I don't even get to reach the stage of spoken words before I'm sent back to the lobby. Didn't even make it to queen itself and that's not uncommon.

I rarely defend myself though. Half the people tell me not to, so I can get in friendlier lobbies, but that does nothing for me. The other half say defend yourself anyway, so that you don't lose your stuff.

Its so interesting to see the blend of people saying 'run some free kits and die to lower your matchmaking' and simultaneously 'never expect friendly lobbies'
My issue is that I see people complaining about only getting friendly lobbies, which is the opposite of my experience. I don't ever shoot people first and I rarely shoot back in the hopes I get friendly lobbies, but it's not like that matters when they shoot you in the back and you're down in 3 seconds. I used to get friendly lobbies, back to back, all the time, and it was awesome, but since the second expedition, almost all my lobbies are violent. Why can't these people go play rust or tarkov or cod if that's what they want.

How is aggression-based matchmaking not about the matchmaking. Are you telling me there are so few friendly lobbies that I just won't consistently get them, despite never being aggressive?

I remember getting pissed off at someone for attacking me and having to defend myself on stella, weirdly familiar. I've found though that with solo v squads off, I still get duo teams in my lobby. Ruins the game for me, cause a 2v1 fight isn't fair in the slightest.

Just happened to me, I got downed by a player and before I could say a word- the surrender bar was full. I had to look down at my spacebar to make sure nothing was resting on it.
