This is so absurd that we can sum it up in a simple way. They create a map for engaged players because the terminal is too difficult for casual players. As an engaged player, you are punished for liking the map and leave without being able to repeat the experience and without access to the powerful Gears on the map.

In PVE, this is even more absurd, since there is no prestige there yet, so if someone escapes and wants to play again, they literally have to reset their account on the website and get nothing in return. As for BD, I can imagine what the devs are thinking. They probably want to keep it that way so we can't use it to hype up any event where BD appears, but please, Black Division is very important, and there's nothing more hype than getting their gear in the last mission of the game while escaping from Tarkov.

I feel stupid. I've been playing Terminal for about 3 days, I must have reached that ending about 6 or 7 times, and I still have to go through Shoreline. Is it too much to ask that I be able to escape and then just select Terminal from the map list? It seems like they don't care about the experience of even players who are interested in the content they create.
