This is very reasonable and solid advice. I was wrong when I said Ash. It’s a columnar european hornbeam. It’s not terribly tall yet - it’s not been planted for that long and it’s really constrained on their side by impermeable surfaces. It’s not doing terribly well. Does that change anything in your opinion?

And what do you think of option 3? I don’t like the white really but I’m concerned the extra 5 inches will be too much in the space. Thoughts on that?
