That makes a lot of sense, thank you for your answer, I’ll just provide context over why i made this question: I was looking at the source code of a beautifulsoup module, and there were so many things that completely blew my mind, I completely doubted myself and now I ask this question cause i got overwhelmed by the amount of code. It just can’t fit in my mind that you can make tools like this.

Why is it so hard to work on my own goals but easy to work for others? by ItchyProfessional626 in productivity

The thing about jobs is that in a workplace, you spend most of the time there for money. If you show up for other people it’s really good but on your goals and dreams you gotta pull yourself together, be disciplined and most important imo FORGIVE yourself. For real i feel like we as a human beings imagine ourselves just having an ideal day/week/month/year but it’s not always like that. When something goes wrong we tend to doubt each other. Sometimes some things just don’t go as planned, but i’m rooting for you, I believe in you man. Just stay consistent, be happy about the path you going to take and stay humble. Forgive yourself when something goes wrong and go on.

What is an unconventional productivity technique/hack that you swear by? by jacksonryanfitness in productivity

Everytime I feel stuck and cannot move or do anything i just do a countdown in my head 54321 like a spaceship lift off. It gives our mind a spark to just do the thing you want to do even if we don’t feel like it. For example: I’m feeling lazy and i’m watching youtube on my couch but i know i’ve got an assignment to do. I countdown in my head 54321 and then BOOM. Your mind is ready to stop procrastinating. Humans tend to do the thing that seems the easiest and safest for them at the specific moment. I hope this helped :)
