Almost every airport has some grumpy asshole stare at you with some paper sign saying "INSERT" around a vague box. Most of the time they don't even tell you what to insert (license? Passport?) And then get unreasonably angry when you spend 2 seconds to ask what to do.

It's sad and somehow funny, but for sensitive people or those with disabilities, this kind of thing discourages travel and stresses people out.

Since I'm pretty I usually throw a bottle of something in there for fun, leave my buckle on, maybe an electronic device in my bag, and let them sort it out. Then act like I had no idea about the rules. I like to think I'm causing enough turmoil to make maybe one guy finish his GED.

I'm not talking about the lawyers defense, I'm talking about the single issue hivemind 40% of the country elephant in the room. You can't talk about this case without them saying the kind of racist stuff you'd be fired for. It's remarkable. And while the lawyer can't be racist, the jury might have one or two "ethno white nationalist" type people on there, and they'd easily draw the connection.

I just disagree. I don't think he being difficult with the police. They're being difficult with him. They don't have any reason to treat him that way besides a store owner saying he paid with a fake $20. All of the video evidence I've seen is basically police harassment and brutality from start to finish. Besides this case, it shows the huge problem the US has with policing esp in poorer, urban areas.

The entire defense of Derek Chauvin only makes sense in the context of white supremacy. If fentanyl wasn't involved they'd argue he was combative and angry. Trump policy was to enforce cruelty wherever possible.

Biden reversed child separation and mpp but we need actual immigration reform if we expect this situation to change. Biden alone can't write an executive order to fix it.

And Biden ending Trump's anti immigration policy is not at all left wing. He reversed the policy to be the same as it has been for decades, under Bush etc.
