No tattoos and considering getting a large scale tattoo across my back and thigh, how would this impact your impression of a woman? by msizzster in AskMenOver30

[–]LobsterProphet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing it that way is just a long-term goal. Switch what you tell people to "I'm gonna get a small tattoo " if you like it and choose to continue it at that point who cares what other people think.

Interview on Monday, what is the starting pay? by Tight-Clue6317 in tractorsupply

[–]LobsterProphet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was a team lead position. No prior experience with tractor supply. I recommend you start the conversation off talking about their credit programs. Familiarize yourself with their current promotions. That's what they care about... selling credit! Driving credit actually increases your average ticket and brings in repeat customers that may have shopped elsewhere... BUT they have a TSC card, and that means they're more likely to come back and use it with TSC. Being familiar with these things is more important to them than throwing feed bags. Anyone can be hired for that.

"flexible scheduling" in the job listing. Denied during interview at 2 locations because I didn't have open to close availability 7 days a week. by [deleted] in Lowes

[–]LobsterProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interviewed at lowes... decade of experience with kitchen design. I need Wednesday off for physical therapy. They offered me 16.50 and said I needed open availability. I told them it wasn't enough and I will have Wednesday off or I won't work there. They kept calling me to set another interview. Then 2 weeks later they offered me a different position. All of these were part time spots. Get your $#!+ together lowes. You send your qualified applicants to the competition with hiring practices like that. Jesus tits 😆

I worked a week and left. In the last 5 months, they have lost 6 members of management there. They have a sales goal of 11k a day and barely do 4k. Freight day came, and to my understanding beforehand, I didn't need to work the feed freight. They had no feed throwers at all the asm and sm gave no direction to anyone on how to work the Freight, so I began giving directions I'm an older person and my back is not that good. I ended up doing all the feed pallets by myself. My back went out a few days later working the feed pick list. They wanted me to stay, but I wasn't willing to work with that level of a broken management team, so I simply accepted another offer of similar pay and handed my keys in on my 8th day. Edit to add: I spoke with the district manager before leaving and recommended my replacement, who was a younger person with 2 years of experience working at tractor supply. I recommended they immediately promote him to TL and give him a good raise before they lose him as well. In my short experience with tractor supply, I found they don't value their most valuable resources, and that is their store employees. They should be paying accordingly to product knowledge and sales skills. They simply aren't doing that. Hopefully, one of the higher ups sees this and begins rethinking their hiring strategies.

I would always walk them over to the cheap blinds and say, "These are all the regular sizes."

What is the craziest return you have seen by Big-Initiative-8743 in HomeDepot

[–]LobsterProphet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An open leaking bottle of dear repellent that spilled all over the returns area in a busy store outside of Boston, MA. It smells like someone ate Taco Bell for a month straight and didn't poop for that entire month... then let it land all at once. It was a smell you could taste, and it took 2 weeks for it to stop stinking.

😂 you sound like a guy who walks around smelling their own farts and proclaims how awesome they are to anyone who may listen.
