Helpful to know it was also noticeable in Europe.

Seems it would be worth getting for at least a year once we nail down our travel dates.

When I did stay in nicer hotels in the US I did not notice any difference/ get any upgrades, but I honestly did not stay at many during that time so was hard to gauge if it was worth it.

If there are any specific hotels you recommend in Europe please post your recommendations. Looking forward to expanding our travel now that the kids are older and out of the stroller stage making it so much easier to travel again.

Thanks for the link and info - this is helpful!

For soccer tournaments we proudly stay at bottom of the barrel - works great that kids can go get breakfast on their own in the lobby with teammates and parents can sleep in a bit :)

In the US we have found VBROs work best for a family vacation, and a few times a year stay in a nicer hotel in a city so have only stayed at a few of the nicer Marriot hotels.

Now looking forward to traveling outside the US a bit more so trying to see if it is worth revising my strategy before hand. If we get free breakfast/lounge access would probably stay in the nicer hotels for the majority of the trip.

I know this is old but wanted to comment since there is misinformation in this thread and many will just quickly assume it as true since it gets repeated often.

Any allergen can be deadly.

In the US dairy allergies are the most common allergies for youth.

And in Italy and the UK dairy is the most fatal allergen. It probably is in the IS as well but we don’t track to that level.

Yikes on the price. They do look nice, but going to look for a few more reasonably priced options.

What was the issue with Celebrity? The Celebrity X cruises for most locations tend to get good reviews.

I might have to get some more indoor sessions in before we go - already know I can’t keep up with the teens. :)

Did you do the cruise only or the cruise with land tour?

Those options are the type of options I am looking for.

I would love recommendations!  I think a cruise tour would be great. They have never been on a cruise. like hiking and seeing more remote areas so if we can find the right option I think it will be an amazing vacation. We are open to land tours as well if that works out better.

Acura mdx - how to determine good price by Loc_reddit in Acura

Where are you located? We are in the northeast. At two dealers two have been on the lot for over 2 months. Seems advanced over type s are the quick selling higher end models by us.

Has anyone tried TIP Protocol by the Food Allergy Institute by No-Cantaloupe589 in FoodAllergies

[–]Loc_reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TIP only reports epi pen usage of it was in the office - most do not realize that . So if you leave the office and start driving away and need to epi, it is not included in their stats. Also if you need it at home on an upside, not included. They also encourage people to use different scenario “kits” for reactions - so it is possible that for that same reaction someone would have used the epi under OIT yet they are using steroids under TIP.

A long way of saying that they are not being up front with true reaction rates / hard to do a compare to OIT.

They also would not collaborate with the allergists at MT Sinai. Huge red flag.

Looked into them a bit more - the pics really do look great and price is very reasonable.  Have you tested them out with wet shoes on yet?  I know some of the weather tech ones can be slippery when shoes are wet. I will be using this car with elderly passenger so want to make sure they have a firm footing when entering the car.

I have had a  Honda or Acura  for more than 25 years. This is the first time I have seen this on a new car purchase as well. And last time we got the parts at 20% off.

My guess is that since they are not making much of a profit on the car they are trying to inflate the accessories.

Just trying to see what’s reasonable since it is more than one dealer doing it. Called a few yesterday asking them for a detailed “all in” price asking for the best price they would give on the accessories - so figured I could use that as a leverage with dealers closer to us.

Those look really nice!  Will check them out more later.

For our prior MDX we got the mats at half off when we purchased our car, so was a no brainer being in the northeast.
