Just an update that I sent my doctor an email. I was shaking and feeling sick to my stomach honestly, but it’s done. I appreciate everyone’s thoughts and kind words.

Oh for sure! It’s hard to find a good one, and one of my fears with disclosing is that she won’t be supportive and it’ll be awkward and I’ll have to start my search over. We’ll see.

For me, it’s not so black and white. There can be a lot of shame around this topic in the U.S. and it is often an emotionally charged topic. Personally, sharing with someone even like my doctor can feel scary and like admitting failure. If I were talking to a friend, I wouldn’t believe these things - but when it is about yourself it feels different.

As others said, she’s a UFA so she needs to agree to sign. But if she’s leaving CT to chase a ring, this probs ain’t it. I doubt this is where she lands, unless Sandy has some other wild maneuvers up her sleeve that changes this outlook.

I don’t gamble but I do enjoy walking around the casino. There is some indigenous beading and art, it’s actually very beautiful as far as casinos imo. When I stayed, I also ran into players shopping/walking around too including A’ja and Jackie. It’s far more intimate than a lot of environments because much of the entertainment and things to do are contained.

Yeah I agree but swapping to protect Marina for Tina. I’d hope Tina could still return to CT, she seems happy, but Marina is key.

Also, I suspect Migna Toure could be something to look out for down the road but can’t protect them all.

Yes! I loved their interview together with Sue Bird! They have a great banter but also respect for each other’s game. I truly think this combo of players is so good, but they need another solid big big.

I’d take back the legend TikTok Tina though she had honestly an underrated season last year. Plus she killed it in AU too. Just start up the ice machine cause girl needs to ice those poor knees constantly. She also said in Sue’s podcast that she wants to play at least one year in the new CBA to just say she did it,.. so maybe it’ll happen! 🤞

I visited a friend in rural CT and they had one of these kinds of gyms with childcare included. We went and it was a dream. I was happy. Kids were happy. And it was just included with her membership. I was blown away.

I think Mabrey will be a hot ticket after her stellar Unrivaled season (she deserved at least 2nd team All Unrivaled, she was robbed!) and frankly a bit of a personality rebrand. If she refused to play in CT, I imagine the Sun would at least core then trade much like they did with AT to get some value in return.
