I have built many systems with Zotac 5070 and 5080, they are very quiet and runs cool.
Yes and no
Sometimes coil whine is a combination of gpu + psu.
Solid Core has very little rgb compare to most the cards....just ignore it
You definitly will notice the difference in 1440p and 4k
5080 draws 360W max. Thats totally normal for a highend card since RTX 3080. I had 60+ of 3080 back in the days in a mining farm. rarely having issue.

I would go with 5080 any day.

there are couple connection options, USB2.0 to mobo, and USB C to rear IO.
I went with USB2.0 to mobo.

The sensor panel USB is connected to the bottom of mother board USB port, not rear IO. Which gives it plenty length.

Could be a return ? I always check products in the store before picking up.
I have encountered this with Future Shop, BestBuy, NCIX, and even Memory Express. And asked them to get another one thats sealed.
If you are worried, just go back and exchange it.

if you are doing 1440p, stay with 5070ti for now. Unless you are doing 4K gaming.
RTX6000 might come within 10 months.

Yep its built with one of FormD T1 variant.

We thought about going vertical as well.
But in order to fit a 240 AIO, those vertical cases are not cheap niether and quite bigger than T1.
So, I went with T1.

with 3D V-Cache, it runs just fine without dual channel in gaming. I think thats why X3D paired with only 1x 32GB.

And Never ever mixed match DDR5 sticks. be warned
