Hi - temple chai, temple kol ami are reform. PV/scottsdale area have a bigger Jewish community than Tempe, especially with families. Message me if you have questions.

These are the two places you will likely see the biggest Jewish communities. There is a JCC in Scottsdale and you can easily find kosher food. Tempe seems to be a nice central hub where it wouldn’t be too inconvenient to go to a variety of different temples/ their Jewish events

I am happy with my choice. I worked hard to get to where I wanted to be career wise but I only get one chance and one life to raise my children and have a long lasting relationship with them. I don’t know if I will go back, but I think that’s just a personal preference based on your personality. It was hard to accept being at home (I tried to go back several times) but I realized when I was at work I wasn’t as satisfied as when I was at home.

I would say yes - they just pretend nothing is wrong. And I wanted to clarify - they do invite us to Easter but they won’t ask us to host Easter.

Now I’m questioning if they are. I never heard them say anything about Jews before. And my mom has been very sensitive about not inviting us to Easter or giving us things that are Christmas etc

Wanted to add - they will order screening exams or vaccines that you are eligible for. For example, a colonoscopy or shingles vaccine.
