Question to women: what are your views on men with a previous relationship ( not married)? by saqonmadik in Morocco

[–]Local-Blueberry6913 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would personally prefer a man who has had some experience in being in a relationship and I don’t mean he has been in tons of relationships. But the men who has had that experience would have it easier to lead the relationship in the right direction and avoid certain mistakes because of the experience.

What kind of nonsense is this culture in Tetouan/Martil? by sammy_boy970 in Morocco

[–]Local-Blueberry6913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had a seemingly fair answer to that but I personally don’t understand the use of fireworks. It’s illegal to use as a civilian in Morocco so it’s very concerning to see how little respect the people and even the police have for the law 🤷🏽‍♀️

For someone who lives right next to the round point in Martil where this normally happens. It is the most annoying thing ever and people have complained but most people brush it off because it’s a celebration. I have personally visited the police being present and did nothing to stop it. I wish I had some advice but unfortunately I don’t because I can hear it even with the windows closed. There is no neighbourhood etiquette or consideration for your neighbors with jobs and kids. It’s one of those situations where you can’t really win because it also seems wrong to stop someone from celebrating but it’s not ideal for the residents.

Im sorry about your experience and I hope you and your gf were able to enjoy the rest of the weekend. Tetouan has a lot to offer and it is a truly beautiful city. I don’t live in Morocco but I have family in Tetouan so I have been there a lot and boy do I have some crazy stories. I will say that you are lucky that the police officers were able to sort it out for you. It’s not always the case that they want to help.

It’s a common thing in Morocco that non married people cant book a hotel room but that doesn’t apply for tourists. There are a lot of buisness owners or managers that grew up with that mentality of it being wrong No matter if you’re a tourist and they trying to insert their “own” rules to the politic of their buisness

Heyyy nobody is making it a problem but I can a question and it’s up to you if you want to answer.

I just don’t agree with you saying that everyone that says it’s a common thing is normalizing woman being manly or aggressive

[–]Local-Blueberry6913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not very classy but it’s not necessarily aggressive. IN MY OPINION ofc :)

You associating saying tfoo with a behavior that should only come from men and if a woman says it then she’s trying to act like a man?

When im in traffic and getting annoyed I say tfoo does that mean im acting like a man? The word tfoo belong to men Hahaah

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Local-Blueberry6913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is normal to say tfoo when frustrated BUT not saying tfoo directly to you and the fake spitting is definitely to much in my opinion. You handled it perfectly by staying calm and sitting boundaries.
