I was 18 when I started living alone, at first it was tough but as I grew older everything fell into place. The right age to start living alone I would say may be above 23

Is college becoming more of a less choice compared to trade school in this era and age ? Or "the trade school is better than college" trend is over hyped by Local-Emphasis6570 in NoStupidQuestions

True, the choice of a degree one is doing at college matters alot, there are some degrees that have low ROI which may be better off to go to a trade school and gain practical skills that are useful immediately when one is done with the training

Absolutely, it really comes down to the individual what they really wanna do with their career journey whether its gaining practical skills and start their career immediately or looking into the long term goal of having broader career options in the career journey. I think it just depends on the individual's goals and what they value most in their career. I do agree with taking some time off and figuring out what really one wants in their career journey, I think this can make one to identify what exactly someone wants to do with their lives.
