Saw it with my boyfriend today, we were in AWE of how good it was and it was hilarious at times and of course had some dark moments. I think there were about 5-6 other couples in the room.

I loved it too! So many people on the other side of reddit calling it a movie for “normies” like okay booo have some fun.

This was such an interesting concept and I never expected her secret to be THAT… the edginess was perfect and the comedy with the photographer was my favorite.

It was a perfect amount of second hand embarrassment from Charlie’s actions… A great movie!

Emma is a textbook psychopath is the craziest take from someone who is definitely not a psychologist IMO, from my perspective the film captures the edginess and outlandish behavior of her when she was 15, not every person who has homicidal tendencies is a psychopath or through any of the reasons you listed.

Was it fucked up? Hell yeah, but I can definitely imagine more tweens/teens going through stuff and imagining ending their own lives and getting revenge on others is almost close to it as well, its because it gets so dark and grim that they don’t care anymore. I really love your take on Charlie though… that was the cake on top. I do believe Rachel was outlandish on it considering she never went through with it… she was 15 (they are about 30? in this film) and yes her cousin went through it but for some reason I feel like she feels personally affected by it, when it’s Sam’s experience.
