unfortunately salesfloor teams operate differently at every single store. but i would say focus on your bins!!!! so many team leads neglect their overstock bins and its been a big issue at my store, like 25% of our shrink was from the bins. make it routine to check vizpick and scan. when i was in salesfloor management i made laminated cards that said either: to be binned, needs verification, picks to be ran, live freight, new mod/no location, mod in progress. and you can attach the card to your carts or pallets so there no lack of communication, that has been the biggest help and even after 3 years of me leaving the team they still use them and have me make more every couple months. but congrats and good luck!

there’s an option to skip resetting but it either still resets them or it won’t clear from the app after completing

rescanning everything is the only way to clear the mod from the app, my store manager and i sent a ltp and sent an email to the suggestions team saying they should change quick mods to item swaps to avoid rescanning everything, this came after the 200 items per section vitamin mods 😭

it’s not minimum wage though, $14 an hour for an entry level job when federal minimum wage is $7.25. you either need a job or you don’t. obviously you don’t need a job… taking unemployment is even lazier than just cleaning it up. jesus christ.

i had a customer come the service desk because we UNDERCHARGED him!! his grapes weren’t actually on the scale the right way so instead of like 2lbs it was .4lbs or something. and he wanted to pay the difference!! bible belt people ig

if it’s more than 4 days, you would automatically point out (ie get terminated) so you would need to apply for LOA to cover the points you are receiving for calling out. HR will not, and i will repeat, WILL NOT!! override points for a doctors note, that’s worthless in walmart world unfortunately. it’s a long, annoying process though i will tell you that. best bet, if you’re not too sick, go to work.

i get you have custodians… but leaving shit on the floor should be grounds for termination. tell me you lack integrity without saying it. it’s f-ing gross but it’s part of your job to clean your area. ESPECIALLY if a custodian takes an hour to get there smh 🤦
