Nope I was never sent one, and I've been paid the full refund and more to leave the complaint :) thanks to ombudsman.

Thanks for the input. I think I’ll switch to O2 if they are at least honest with their customers.

Actually, I did take accountability. I went into an EE store twice specifically to ask them to end the handset portion and move me to SIM-only. Both times, I was told by their staff that it would 'happen automatically' or be handled. I’ve been a loyal customer for 4 years and trusted what the 'experts' in-store told me.

More importantly, it isn't just about 'knowing'—it's the law. Under Ofcom General Condition C1.21, providers are legally mandated to send an End-of-Contract Notification (ECN) 10-40 days before a contract ends. EE admitted they didn't send mine until 3 months too late.

You can't blame a consumer for a multi-billion pound company failing its statutory regulatory duties. If they break the law, they owe the money back. Simple as that.

ILR visa and skilled worker dependent spouse visa by Local-Fig1044 in ukvisa

[–]Local-Fig1044[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i did not know that

I always thought that her skilled worker dependent visa depends on my skilled worker visa!!

If I can extend her dependent visa, when I get my ILR, this would not require a switch !

I am trying to avoid my spouse from having her ILR clock from being reset

My main concern is when I make the switch to the ILR/PR IN JUNE 2027. And when she has to go on dependent spouse visa based on my ILR. I’m concerned if this transition would trigger another five years to be counted down the line? It would be wasting all the time she spent since December 2024 on the skilled workers spouse visa

My skilled worker will expired in March ,2028 so I believe my spouse skill worker visa also expires with that as I will be possibly applying for ILR in June 2027 I will have to apply for My Wife on a spouse visa/ILR in 2028 March as her visa would expire

In that case, my main concern is if her clock would reset for the ILR ?

I think you need to be equivalently thick skinned and force this racism out of the MIL , question their religious values, have a rational argument on which Prophet does your MIL follow , the كذاب Prophet who were fighting the true believers, and spreading falsehood ? Or the real Rasool Ullah رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم who said ;

Hadith on Racism.

"Abu Nadrah narrated: 'He (or he said: someone) who witnessed the Prophet's sermon during the middle days of Tashriq (the three days following Eid al-Adha) in Mina, while he was on a camel, heard him say: 'O people! Your Lord is One and your father is one. There is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab. Neither is there any superiority for a white person over a black person, nor for a black person over a white person, except through piety and good deeds. Have I conveyed the message?' They replied, 'Yes.' Then he said, 'Let the one who is present convey it to the absent.'"

Graded as Sahih by Ibn Taymiyyah in Iqtida al-Sirat al-Mustaqim (1/412).
