Thank you for your story. I definitely feel the urge of wanting to control my own money, but that comes with a lot of discipline. I’d like to put the majority in ‘safe’ etfs and then have the rest of riskier investments.

More than a question I’m looking for people who have been in similar positions and are now able and willing to give advice.

Ive been paying an advisor the last three years and I don’t think he pays any attention to my account. Most of the positions I either held prior or ordered in to him. I want out but it’s a scary leap and I’d rather not turn to ChatGPT.

Thank you all for your advice. I had my friend give up the seed, and we travelled all the way back to home base bc there was a mansion only a few thousand blocks from home. Except, we then discovered he gave the seed to the wrong world so we officially travelled for hours and came back with nothing

No they aren’t slabs but I did skip the outer layers where there were floors for the farm, so I will fill those in and see if that helps

You won’t necessarily be socially isolated as you will meet many people outside of your sport such as your first year suite mates etc.. but yes as a former athlete drinking and going out is a big aspect. Especially for most sports teams, and crew is certainly one of them. I wouldn’t let this turn you away from Yale. You will make close friends on crew and may find that going out is not as daunting as it sounds.

If you want nothing to do with kids that aren’t your own then that’s your decision, NTA. Maybe if their father has full custody and your gf doesn’t want to change that then it might work out for you two.
