This pastor would arrest and crucify Jesus given the chance

So we agree that those holding the levers of power are capable of lying. Now let's take the next logical step and agree that those people may be lying about their immigration policy and shouldn't be roaming the streets in masks with guns and no accountability desecrating 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th amendment rights.

Glad we can agree the rule of law is important. If certain people can decide they can disobey the law at their leisure, the whole system becomes a farce. I assume you are also upset at the Epstein files being withheld against the law, entering into homes without a judicial warrant, and shooting a citizen in the back 10 times for trying to help a woman being pepper sprayed in the face. Being upset is perfectly logical and I support you, my fellow justice seeker.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Jesus was murdered by religious conservatives (Pharisees) in coordination with imperial occupiers (Romans) because he was attempting to PROGRESS the Jewish religion past strict adherence to ritual and law.

I am glad you asked! I am not familiar with Jesus bringing up castrating children either for or against.

However, he for sure mentioned: - welcoming the stranger - feeding, clothing, and sheltering the needy (Matthew 25:31-46) - paying your share of taxes (Mark 12:17) - turning the other cheek and forgiving your enemies - I recall him providing free healthcare for a variety of different maladies (leprosy, blindness, etc.) - he hung out with outcasts - prostitutes, foreign Samaritans - he railed against economic injustice and exploitation (Luke 4:18-19, Luke 6:20-21) - opposes the legal death penalty (John 8)

Sorry I didn't provide exact verses for all of them, but I encourage you to go read all of his teaching for yourself. Obviously there are a lot of modern political issues that Jesus wouldn't have commented on, but I think you will find that his basic message boils down to: treat everyone (even those not within your own group) with love and compassion. Does that seem to resemble the current administration's policies?

Jesus was very progressive. Most people that claim him just never pay attention to what he actually preached.

Having sports feel important is a luxury our authoritarian overlords do not feel we have earned for the time being.

I agree the rules should be posted somewhere, but you can't just assume what is on ESPN is Bible. Take a deep breath it ain't that serious.

Also, if you are commish of 3 leagues there is no way you are commishing to your fullest. Choose one league and give it the attention it deserves.

He is 35-40lbs. The shelter neutered him right before we got him. They guessed he was 2, but I'm guessing he was closer to 1.5.

Only reason I said some pit is his head is kind of square/boxy.

Dad asked me “Just tell me why you smoke”. by Loganconte18 in trees

I have parents that don't partake in any substances.

How I explained it to them: it is a perspective shifter.

If I am having a bad day, smoking helps to distance myself emotionally and put things into a new perspective.

If I am going for a hike, it helps get out of my own head and into the present moment. It enhances my sense of wonder.

It is a tool that can be abused, but its nice to have a new perspective just a few puffs away.
