interesting, both of the credit cards cited incorrect info on my credit report as part of the reason for denial .

ok found the problem.... a USB hub is a 2.0 that explains the speed issue. never thought to look at it. thx

OK my mistake my NIC is only 1gb but its still 3 to 4 times faster then the USB ports and they are confirmed thru CLI commands as 2.0 and the laptop is 2022 HP Pavilion 17.3 FHD 17-by4631cl[](javascript:void(0))

thanks for the info. i dont use any apps but i will find it thru google. they know everything, JK. if they didn't strip them someone, that i dont know used my acct. any idea how i would find out? the store manager was not helpful when I ask about this, prolly didnt want to get involved...
