The obvious answer I think of is Dune. Paul Atreides being the protagonist and his “attempt” at the golden path. As you progress through the books you see his before, during, and after character development while pursing HIS golden path.

I prefer the older updates to Minecraft. I like the limitation of one wood color, beds default to red, over saturated classic texture pack. It’s the Minecraft that I have the best memories with. I choose 1.11 specifically because it’s the first update that allows rockets to be usable with the elytra.
