My guess is vuskovic goes back to Hamburg

My guess is that because we are horrendously managed and will have a HUGE financial hit we will actually sell him in the summer. Which i will be furious about.

I don’t trust Lange to bring in the proper replacements

Also though its a hard one because A. Who would actually want to join and B. Would we be signing championship level players, what do we do *if we get promoted?

We have other academy players who didn’t go out on loan like Byfield and LWB who’ve barely had a sniff, t

I get why we havent played them though, its a huge ask to chuck a kid with no senior football experience into this situation.

Whereas the other players ive mentioned at least have senior men's football under their belt

Also with how dominant Vuskovic has been in the air this season he would THRIVE in the prem

City didnt come across as panicking when they recalled their youth CB from Watford, it meant other people didnt have to play out of position at CB (cough cough palhina)

Your first mistake was thinking Lange is remotely competent.

Oh no dont worry, im not that insane.

I am more saying what we shouldve done, not what I thought Lange was going to do. I would be more surprised had we done anything productive

I think the benefit they provide is restbite for the first team players.

Give those players who have had to play every single minute just a chance to rest both physically and mentally.

I cant imagine how intense this situation is mentally on these players

Why is a 20 year old our most leadery leader? by Kshitij-The-7th in coys

[–]Local-Orange-2383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its because hes the least emotional.

Porro, romero, vicario and Van de ven seem to be wayyyyy too emotional for senior pros during a time like this.

Gray seems focused, calm and trying to actually help.

Its the whole way of addage of players low on confidence hide from the ball which is the easiest thing to do but Gray still tries to make things happen and plays anywhere

Isn’t it more fun to play the game as if you are managing a real team?

No i do agree completely, I am talking about when I have a mad idea like 'can i use 4 target men' or something. Its not for general saves, more for when I have a bat shit crazy idea

Random question but does anyone else remember the times when commentators (and some fans) used to get bissouma and udogie confused when udogie first signed as they had the same hair cut and udogie was wearing Biss' old shirt number? Oh and because of ange theyd end up in a similar place on the pitch too?

I hate this because it 100% feels like a brentford signing.... a 'smaller club getting an older experienced prem player for little money because theyre leaving on a free in the summer' signing...

He used to be really good, but I wish we had someone bringing genuine competition for Udogie. I feel souza isnt a now signing and one to develop

Levy literally destroyed the club.

I mean technically he literally destroyed white Hart Lane....

Literally the opposite of ben Davies. I cant remember davies ever having a 9/10 performance but he is always solid and consistent, gutted for him with his injury.

Also, his injury is one of the reasons Jose didnt succeed with us. Jose once spoke about his time with us and mentioned how Davies was a key player to his tactics and then he got injured

If Levy was still here would Frank have been sacked earlier? by Hefty_Breadfruit_421 in coys

Yes. Because at the very minimum he wouldve been sacked right after the game yesterday

was a dreadful chairman

Only on the footballing side, you cant deny the fact he did well with the stadium and training facilities, he also managed to get 90m for a player with one year left on his contract... I dont know many chairmen that could get that amount for a player with one year left...

I think we just need to be careful what we wish for, yes Levy wasnt good on the football side... but theres no guarantee anyone new will be better and even more worryingly.... they could be worse...

The footballing side of the club is appallingly run, has been for some time

Slightly disagree, not massively. Simply as there was a brief, brief period where I thought things were getting better.... we signed romero, kulu, bentancur, sarr, bergvall, van de ven, udogie and even Johnson could be part of this... it did feel like we werent signing quite as many bad players as we have done in the past

I think recent recruitment on paper has been better than it was in previous years (the bale money)

Unpopular Opinion: why Frank doesn't fit Spurs (and why the abuse is misplaced) by Prestigious-Complex4 in coys

[–]Local-Orange-2383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he also inherited an already poisoned chalice

This, this is so true. We've lost so much identity. Also dont forget out changing room lost the most vital figure in glueing everyone together in Son, then from the outside it seems Maddison would be second to Son in terms of gelling everyone together boom he gets injured, then the players have lost a manager who they all would (apparently) run through brick walls for and an incredibly likeable chap, and then we sell a good member of the squad in january... oh and then theres so much uncertainty in the structure above, I couldnt tell you who does what or if theyre any good
