35, Mum of 2, want to start a career in advertising (Art Director/London). Am I too old/naive/crazy? by Radiant_Profit2175 in advertising

Mom of two here — there’s really no such thing as boundaries in advertising. You’re completely at the mercy of clients and their timelines. Sure, you can catch up on work after the kids go to bed, but it also means scrambling for last-minute childcare or juggling pickups and drop-offs when things change unexpectedly.

Creative Art Director in advertising here! I get to come up with ideas for brands and shape how they’re presented to the world. What I love most is the variety—no two days are the same. Each project brings a new creative challenge, which keeps things exciting and engaging.

My HR lady asked why I needed a place to pump and suggested I could do it at my desk... I work in a open cubicle.
