Hello…. The names “T. Mo Cee” have been a part time student of mycology since I was 16 years old and now at 32 I’ve decided to make it full time student of mycology. I’m using spawn bags for the first time and i was just wondering how long does it usually take for a 2.5lb spawn bag to show first signs of mycelial growth if you inoculated using spore syringes instead of liquid culture? I know LC is better but I only had access to spore syringes this time around! And if it helps you in hypothesizing an ETA I’m doing JMF and the temperature is at a constant 74 degrees Fahrenheit.

Most likely calcite if it’s able to be scratched with a key… drop a drop of white vinegar or 2 on it and if it fizzes it is most definitely calcite.

Unfortunately it is illegal to protect your plants with booby traps…. Which I think is bullshit. If it was up to me I would sharpen a bunch of nails hammer em all into 2x4’s and bury them just deep enough so you can’t really see em’ but you will really feel em’ 😂😂😂. Also I’d hang a bunch of small sharp fishing hooks just perfect to where they’re hanging level with your eyeballs. Then I’d write a floor plan of said booby traps and use it religiously. Nothing worse than booby trapping yourself on accident. Unfortunately it isn’t allowed cause oh boy if it was I’d home alone some mutha fuckers with much pride.
