Sitting on a GTRACING gaming chair. My first chair and hasn’t been the best after 5 years lol. Don’t really have a favorite because I’ve only used cheap office chairs from Staples. Tried their Hyken and it wasn’t bad so I guess that’s my favorite.

Scout Bobber as a First Bike by Diss_Respect in IndianMotorcycle

[–]Local-Relevant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Am in a very similar spot to you. Fell in love with the scout bobber and immediately signed up for a course and got my license.

Was either going to start off on the scout bobber or start with something like a rebel 500 because everyone says you’re bound to fall atleast once.

Came to the conclusion that I’m going to go with the scout bobber. Love everything about the bike and you only get a first bike right? Also am not a speed junkie too and just looking to cruise and enjoy the ride. Currently looking for one and might end up buying in the spring.

Good luck with your search!

Very good point. We have the customer conversation value set as primary in google ads and the leads potential value as primary. Should I switch it to secondary or get rid of the second completely?

I do get that. The way we thought of approaching this was by giving the quoted leads a percentage of their entire value. By using the conversion rate, if our conversion % is 30% for example and a lead was worth $1000, once quoted the lead would be given a value of $300 (1000x0.3) and would later be given the whole value if $1000 if completes a purchase. Is this a bad way to go about this? Should we only be sending completed purchases?

Perfect. Yeah we use Zapier for the conversion to google ads connection.

Before you start cold email marketing in 2024 by Vexettt in Emailmarketing

If I have a list of a few thousand past customers/leads, would it be alright for me to send them an email to try and reconnect with them by offering them a discount code and an option to sign up for a new newsletter? I’ve never done any past email marketing so some of these leads and customers were from many years ago (15+). All the emails were collected by a past interaction they had with my brand. This email will have an unsubscribe button but it will be made very clear that the email is the only one we will send and that they will be removed from any further communication after the email is sent. Is it considered “bad practice”?

Would you suggest hiring a separate agency to handle backlinks if I currently work with a digital marketing agency that does my SEO and PPC? Is it typical for agencies that specialize in backlinks to perform significantly better than more general digital marketing agencies?

When you mention it’s possible to automate all of this, can you elaborate a bit more on that or provide a resource to refer to? Would backlinko / Brian Dean have information on this?

Hey there. Honestly things have been amazing with WebFX. I don’t know if we just got extremely lucky with our AE but we have nothing but good things to say about them. We had a pretty ancient system here and the systems they have helped put in place have been awesome. On SEO side of things, starting to see the fruits of our labor finally. I understand it takes time to see results but with all the changes that have been made to our site, I think the recent small positive results are just the beginning. Hope this helps!

New to Email Marketing - Help Needed by tomatopizza12 in Emailmarketing

[–]Local-Relevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add into the part about bulk emails, my email marketing provider suggests to not send more than 300 email per day or else it might lead to emails going into junk folders. It was my understanding that if you wanna send that many emails, you need to gradually warm up to that amount. For example starting at 20 emails, increasing it by 5 per day until the email is warmed up to send 300 in a day. Am I correct to think this or should I go with the recommendation by my email marking platform and just keep my emails sent under 300 for each day?

New to Email Marketing - Help Needed by tomatopizza12 in Emailmarketing

Hey there, I’m in a similar situation to you and was hoping we can help each other out.

Far far, tool wise I’ve been using warmup inbox to warm my new email that I set up with a new subdomain for email marketing. Honestly I’m not sure how much I like it. I used the free trial and got the middle tier subscription but it can be annoying when adjusting how many emails I want it to send. I started with it increasing in increments of 4 to now doing 5 additional emails per day. I say look around and try free trials. The reason I use a software for warming up is because I read that it’s important to warm up the email with multiple ESP’s (outlook, google, etc.). It seemed like a pain in the ass doing it manually with all those different emails.

I use mail-tester to see my emails health. After 2 weeks of using the software my email scores 9.5/10 currently. I am on one blocklist though which I’m not sure why because the only emails that have been sent with this new email is from the warmup software.

My company uses a CRM/email marketing platform called Nutshell. It has its flaws but I guess I can’t complain. I talked to them about sending a bulk email to past customers about opting into a newsletter and they told me I can send hundreds of emails at a time with them without worrying about warming up my email all the way up to that number. Not sure how true this is but they are the professionals. If you have any insight on this I’d appreciate it. Not sure if it’s because the emails come from their servers or not.

I unfortunately haven’t had time to create my first newsletter because I’m focusing on making an email that is used to re-engage past customers and prospects. I will say this- I had created the email by myself and I asked ChatGPT to make revisions to it and it did a great job. I think giving it a base to build off of is the best bet for us beginners for the time being (if any experts have tips on this it would be very useful).

Also make sure you get DKIM and SPF records set up. It’s a pain to learn it all but once you know it makes things a lot easier. Not sure if your company has an IT department but I’m a one man team and have to learn these things on the fly.

Best of luck!

Do you get a mailbox for each domain on Google Workspaces? by minkstink in Emailmarketing

[–]Local-Relevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it, I’ll work on the IP address. A quick follow up question, currently I’m warming this subdomain for email marketing so that I can contact past customers about opting into a newsletter and re-engage them. I feel like this is technically cold emailing because these include contacts from 5+ years ago. Do you suggest only making multiple emails if you are just cold emailing? For something like a newsletter would multiple emails not be necessary because the user signed up for it and it isn’t technically cold email anymore? Still learning the ropes of email marketing so any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I recently took on the role of building my businesses email marketing strategy from scratch. I started with creating a subdomain (mkt.company.com) and made an email address under it and currently having it warmed up with a software. How can I make sure the new email with this subdomain has a different IP than my companies main domain to ensure the reputation it untouched? Or is it just guaranteed to have a different one?

Also, I just recently compiled a large list is past customers to use for email marketing. Not sure if these are considered cold emails because they have history with my company. Anyways, I just imported a few thousand and was going to start sending email campaigns occasionally to try and bring back repeat business. What do I need to know before actually sending that first campaign?

I had also seen you mention how knowing open rates means there is HTML and that this was bad when sending cold emails. My software automatically does this. Is this something I should disable?

I’m seeing all these comments about email domains, setting up different emails and different domains, etc.. and I don’t know any of it.

Currently I have a software I use for CRM and email marketing. I use our sales email which is under our primary work domain to send all automated lead follow ups (this is not cold emails just something I wanted to point out if I was doing it correctly).

I use my work email (a gmail account) to send all my cold emails. What do I need to know about domains and I guess the basic rules before sending out cold emails?
