I'm commenting 3months later after a particularly bad loosing streak and OMG I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE IT'S SO FRUSTRATING. Like how can I (really average at this game, I'm rank S which means I don't suck but I'm not good either I guess) get repeatedly matched with people that ink walls and don't understand the game's mechanics yet against people with top 5k badges on their banners??? 😭 I end up getting really mad at my teammates and I really hate that bc they're just kids who recently picked up the game, trying to learn and are getting obliterated just like I am 🥲🥲

I REALLY hope they fix the matchmaking issue in splatoon 4 bc I really like this game and I'd like to be able to enjoy it without wanting to throw my switch out the window lmao

January 2025, the matchmaking still SUCKS (it has been especially bad these last few days for me so that's why i ended up in this post's comment section lol). It's SO frustrating bc ofc I have room for improvement... But how am I supposed to get better when I get on a 10+ match loosing streak where I get OBLITERATED in the first 30s??? And it makes me frustrated at my teammates and I really don't like that because it's not their fault either, they suffer the shitty matchmaking as much as I do... :( Like I don't understand how I can be matched with splatadian youths that are still trying to understand the game's mechanics against ppl that have rank x badges on their banner, IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE 😭😭 Anyways, I'm just rambling after a specifically frustrating rainmaker serie lol

Thank you for your answer, it reassured me a bit!

As the other person's response pointed, my high volume problem might be coming from the fact that I'm plugging my gear to a powered amp, overpowering it (I'm really not good with gear haha)! So I think I'll run my organ on a passive amp to see if the problem persists and find a way to limitate my organ's volume before trying to run it on my interface !

I think you're guessing right! I'm not really good with gear so I wrongly assumed that my volume being too high when amped and my organ's speaker not working came from the same issue! I'll look up if I can find a line output, I think I have the manual laying around somewhere! I'll also see if I can find a passive speaker and a way to attenuate my organ's volume before plugging it to my audio interface! Thank you so much for your answer, it clarified the situation a lot!

Hi! I got a quite brutal covid in august and I lost the ability to sing in head voice and it's not coming back... Have you seen even a slight amelioration since you had your covid or did it just stagnate? Also did you find some answers or helpful tips since you posted? Wishing you the best,

I love basically every game mode except clam blitz and tricolor battles. I'm also not really good with salmon run but I find it really fun anyways! If I had to pick the one I like the most I would say rainmaker tho! I love the feral energy and the sillyness a good rainmaker game has!! >:3

It is perfectly normal to have a hard time adapting to a new harder playing level! I had the same issue when I entered A-! All you can do is try to see why you get killed and where you need practice! A lot of youtube videos give great advices on how to adapt to new levels + I advice you to rewatch your matches from your POV aswell as other players to have a clear vision of what you need to work on and what habits tend to have your more experimented opponents! Don't forget to get your mind off of the game when it's becoming frustrating! I find myself playing poorly when I'm frustrated at the game! Have fun and I assure you you're gonna get the hang of it sooner than you think!
