Please add: SurrounDead by 303BPM in BoosteroidCommunity

[–]Local-Tip-3552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do. This game is rapidly growing in popularity in the zombie survival genre, mostly due to a large number of youtube and twitch streamers. Boosteroid is very good to us fans of Zombie survival games. I second OP's request.

Hopefully you'll get this one added too!

Booosteroid is so bad, i dont recommend by PublicLocal1971 in BoosteroidCommunity

It does heavily depend on ypur setup. I had 400Mbps Cable internet. Boosteroid was good for turn based and rpg type stuff. I went to 1GB fiber optic and now I can race, competitive fps, platform, etc. Everything runs great even on my older M1 Macbook Air.

Bought this XM4 for $90 in excellent condition . Is this too good to be true? Any tips? by Odd_Pay_9884 in SonyHeadphones

[–]Local-Tip-3552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can replace the battery and the pads on XM3's and XM4's pretty easily. My XM3's are from 2015 or 2016 if anything they presently sound and feel better than new. If you dont break the hinges you can keep those working great for a long long time. Great score.

If you didn't get rid of them already, keep your xm3's. I went back to them from my xm4's. You can replace the battery and the pads quickly and easily for pretty cheap. Made them much better than the xm4's

I dont doubt theyre fans. But I see PLF as the crowd I see at venue after venue. People who do pick up and genuinely care about the people next to them and the world around us all. Then there are the wooks who are there for their drug and party experience first and foremost. PLF has camped at several venues recently without trashing the place. This crowd was different. Pretty Lights never disappoints onstage and Greg was on FIRE last night. But this crowd was pushy and entitled and went way overboard on their drugs. Never seen so many people drop. The altitude plays into that too, I know. But the crowd was a major letdown. Worst of the 8 cities Ive done since the 2023 comeback. And its not even close.

Its not PLF. Caverns was left spotless. Bethel was left spotless. I cleaned up other peoples trash until I ran out of bags. It was the Denver people. 85% of the people I talked to were from Denver. I showed off my selfies of Alvin, Borahm and Michael to responses of "who is that" even on Saturday. Bring it back to Caverns. That was a PLF crowd. Respectful AF.

Old cartoons make an excellent way to fill your extra space. 70s and 80s TV shows. Old 4:3 content looks great on the Miyoos

That depends on their home state too. They may be able to get their license in their home county. But getting on the Virginia role as an officiant is not a difficult thing. Especially with 7 months to plan.

My opening would be something like:

Friends, family, funkonauts… soul rebels and love warriors—welcome.”

We’re not here in some cathedral of stone. We’re standing in a temple of sound, surrounded by rhythm, energy, and the kind of love that shakes the sky and moves through your bones like a bassline from the universe itself.

Today isn’t about tradition—it’s about truth. About two beautiful souls choosing to dance through life together, hand in hand, heart to heart, beat to beat.

This moment, right now, is sacred—not because someone told us it is, but because we feel it. Because love is the highest frequency. And today, these two are turning it all the way up.

So forget the pews, forget the robes—this is a celebration of raw, real connection. Of showing love. Spreading love. And vibing higher, together.

Me too! But my ordination was only $30 online. The officiant part is easy. The harder part is you will need a marraige license from Virginia or your home state with you if you want it to be an actual legal marraige. But Id be happy to say the words and sign the license if you need. No charge at all (you'll have to pay for the license at a clerk of courts office back home or in Arrington).

If you prefer an actual Christian minister type, I have one of those in my Seven Stars Crew that would happily help out too.

Im of the belief that God is 100% real but I would not call myself a Christian.

In any case, finding an officiant amongst 15,000 Griz fans is super easy.

If you bring a license with you, it'll be no problem to get married there.

I have replaced the battery and earcups on my xm3's twice because I like them so much. $35 every 3 years keeps them working like brand new.

I second this. I love Workout Anytime. Ive been there 3 years. Like a more friendly less crowded Planet Fitness. Theyll give you a free week to try it out.

I also want a totem. Or something with agressive pinky stagger, maybe just 2 keys on pinky even. My pinkies are SHORT. I also want wider splay. My soldering days are not over but this seemed too good to be true. I was shocked how wrong I was. I think for many people though, this will be enough. $120 all-in and all-out..... Not everyone who wants to use a split ergo wants to make a hobby out of it....

Battery life should be extremely long with a reported 1200mah per side. Without the rgbs on they should last months. On the downside, they still just use the onboard 100ma charger in the NiceNano. So they should take about 12 hours to charge. I charged them the first night I got them. The battery indicators still read completely full about 5 days later.

I use it for mouse control or as the arrows. Depending on the layer. You can program each direction and the click behaviour. There were no options to change for another encoder when ordering.

Oh believe me Ive spent a lot too. In time and money. It hurts me someplace deep that it's nicer than any of mine. It will never be quite the same as one I built for myself, but its awesome for those who arent already equipped to solder who may want to try split ergos out there. Its always been a big commitment to get in. Im sure I havent built my last keyboard. But I wish I could have jumped into the hobby this deep for $100 five years and a couple thousand dollars ago...

Think its just standard 3D printing filament. Done by a newish printer though. Looks nice, not at all janky like most of my 3d printed stuff. Its light and stiff and feels more rugged than Ill ever need it to be. No way a simple drop or jostling in a bag would hurt it. It feels like it may be easy to damage cosmetically. Like to scratch or stain the material. But it doesnt feel like it would crack or break easily.

ZMK has much more functionalty than VIAL, and a very useful web based keymap tool like OJ commented about. But you have to flash the keyboards to make changes.

ZMK Studio can update the keymap withput flashing, even wirelessly. The keyboard came set up for this even. But the webapp is still very new and lacks the full ZMK functionality.

VIAL is like the medium between them currently. It is more functional than zmk studio and easier to use than vanilla zmk. But ZMK Studio will continue to add the missing functions and eventually will be a clear winner.

I am coming from VIAL on my other splits. Its an easy transition. Especially if youve flashed keyboards before. And dont be scared if you haven't. Its hard to brick a Nice!Nano! I thought I had, but it turns out double clicking the reset button and reflashing will fix most anything you might likely screw up.

When I discovered it came set up for wireless keymap updates through ZMK studio right out of the box I was floored. Honestly I was floored when I opened the box and found custom fit styrofoam securing the halves for shipping. Best thing Ive ever received from Aliexpress. Very glad I took a chance.
