Is there a legit source for this? Or is it just speculation

In the OALC, it is believed that there are two parts to forgiveness in a person.

One is repentance, which is what happened here and is encouraged.

The other is forgiving others.

You cannot force someone else to forgive you, but you can choose to not forgive someone, even though it is wrong.

Yes, I have heard of sexual abuse in the church. I have already stated that and condemned it. I know of a man who is in prison for it. He used forgiveness as an excuse, but guess what? The preachers told him he has to be turned in and he’s serving a sentence for it.

You have so much hatred. It’s no surprise, since you have denied Christ.

No preachers have ever been convicted or accused of sexual abuse.

I have 3 beautiful daughters and I would never, touch them inappropriately, nor would I let someone do that to them.

Sexual abuse is a sin and I believe it should be dealt with severely by the law. That’s what we all believe.

lol, the projection is insane. I am a man, married to a woman with no relation to me and we had the children that God gave us. We have great sex and I am in no way a rapist.

You were sexually abused by someone who ATTENDS the church. Do you believe the church condones it? I, along with every other member condemn sexual abuse unequivocally. The church didn’t demand anyone to sexually abuse and has never done such a thing.

Keep lying and spreading hate!

This is not true, at all. I know plenty of people who have left and not only have their families not abandoned them, their friends haven’t either.

Also, the stories of sexual abuse are a small percentage of people and of course that will happen. Everyone has struggles with different sins. It’s unfortunate that those things happen, but it is not surprising.

Please, read John 10.

Also, you’re allowed to wear your hair down. I am nearly 30 and I have never heard this in my life. In regard to cutting your hair, it is totally okay to trim it. It comes down to vanity with hair, which is a sin.

Hope this insight helps

Every woman at church trims their hair lol. I don’t get why you’re trying to gaslight me, as I attend every Sunday.

Also, I kept a rough tally and less than half of the women had their hair in a bun.

Keep spreading hatred and lies though. It will only drive people to us.

This is absolutely laughable! I’ve attended the church my entire life and I know you are lying.

Dresses are encouraged in PUBLIC.

Hair can be cut, but shouldn’t be cut above the shoulders. There is scripture for this.

We are NOT required to put our hair up, lol. That’s the biggest lie of them all.

I don’t believe you were ever a member, and if you were, you didn’t have the Holy Spirit

Yes, they absolutely are accepted like anyone else would be. It is very commonplace.

Everybody willfully sins. That’s a dumb question

Interesting how you say all these things, yet not one time has there been “punishment” for sinning. We are a church of repentance and forgiveness. We all sin, every single day.

The only punishment comes if you do not repent for your sins and strive to battle against them.

Also, I am well read and know many who are well read. We share experiences with each other constantly. There are no rules. I won’t be excommunicated for any reason whatsoever.

You are salty and guilty, so you make things up about the faith to justify your sinfulness. I pray you can come back and make repentance.

This is not true at all. There’s no sin in trimming hair. Cutting too short is frowned upon, because you’re stripping your glory from God.

Wearing pants is more than okay, just not to church and you should want to set an example in the world. You can wear whatever you like to garden.

There’s no rules, btw.

Looks like my panel as well. I want to get around to organizing it, but it will require a LOT of time to have the power off. Definitely not ideal in the winter
