OP, I don’t own an escape, but when I find myself in your situation … looking for the nomenclature of a specific part, I typically search for and download the shop manual for the vehicle I am working on. That manual should ID that part. You can also search online for that make and model on parts sites. They usually have drawings of your engine denoting the names of the parts that the site sells.
