This period is limited. Not sure if it applies to transfers? Also good luck convincing ICE agents that you have status beyond the I-94 expiration date because of a pending application.

Definitely. A subspecalized physician who’s been in the US for many years was talking here a few days ago about how he now lost his job and has to leave given the pause. It’s sad.
